Congrats, M1!

Everyone!

I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University is the new overall champion of the 8th Malaysian Intervarity Games 2011 with:

7 Golds, and 6 Silvers

in total and Chong Yew Chuan as the best sportsman of the event. We have requested a holiday to celebrate this glorious achievement and our beloved Vice Rector who was presence at the closing ceremony has verbally approved the request. Therefore, we will be having holiday on:

18th April 2011 (MONDAY)

Our Vice Rector has informed us that our dean’s office will be contacting all departments regarding this special holiday. As usual, please ask you lecturers to refer to the dean’s office if there are any conflict.

SMSA would also like to thank all SIG 2011 committee members, volunteers, supporter and of course, the athletes. Not forgetting all athletes and representatives from other six univerities all around Russia. Thank you for participating and uplifting the true meaning of our motto:

SPIRIT.INTEGRITY.GLORY

Next Year, the 9th Malaysian Intervarsity Games are planned to be held in Nizhny Novgorod (NNSMA). See you then!
