As the Head and Assistant of the Sports Bureau, one will shoulder the following responsibilities:

1. Being the primary source of information and assistance for the students who have any needs or questions concerning current Sports and Recreational activities
2. As the Sports Captain amongst the Malaysians in MMA, you are also tasked with being the leader of any sports contingent to other universities. (i.e during the Inter-Varsity Games)
3. Being the primary overseer and decision maker of the selection process of the team of athletes who will represent MMA at any university level sports events.
4. Being the overseer of any committee which wants to organize sports-related events, i.e. Games and Tournaments, Sports Days, Leagues etc
5. Being the intermediate from the Deans’ Office to the students in the area Sports related issues, such as announcements about new sports clubs, the location of the various university sports facilities, etc
