After a long discussion and meeting with all parties, SMSA would like to announce that our official Presidential Election 2012 will be held on 27th February 2012. There are 3 (three) official candidates for the presidential post, as stated below:

• Sudhir Das Haridas, 
• Luqman Azhar
• Kribanathan

For your information, SMSA will only have election for the coveted presidential post. All other positions have already been filled by students that were courageous enough to take on the responsibility to serve our community here.

Below are the details of the election process:

1. From 20th (12am onward) to 23rd February 2012: Campaigning period.
2. 24th February 2012: Interview session by SPR and Current SMSA committees headed by Suzuanhafizan Omar.
3. 27th February 2012: Voting day and announcement of the result.
4. 2nd March 2012: Handover Ceremony

You can also find and download your schedules from mma.ru although it may not be the updated versions. SMSA will update the schedules on the website if we have any information regarding the schedules. Find the address of respective departments here or download it here.

The semester will start as usual on 9th February 2012 (Thursday). However, it is advisable to return to Moscow earlier in order to settle down and prepare for the new semester. SMSA strongly recommend you to come back 3 days before your visa expired to avoid any complications. Please, do not miss your classes and finish your exam as soon as possible.

Students,

1. Our dean’s office is currently updating all students nostrification status. Please hand in your nostrification letter as soon as possible especially those in their clinical year. They has once again warned all students  that they WILL NOT HESITATE to expel all students without all the proper documents from our university.
2. All 6th Year students MUST hand in your credit books to our dean’s office before the winter holidays for them to record your final progress. You may not graduate if you do not do so in time. By the way, you can always ask a trustworthy friend to do you the favour!
   
3. These students listed below still have not pass up their practical report. Please do so on 29th November 2011, Tuesday from 1500 to 1800. List of students who still do not pass up the report will be sent to our dean for further action. Please fill in and prepare all the documents beforehand : Report (отчёт), Credit books, diaries (if required).

The re-exam for Infectious Diseases will be held on:

Please note that you need to get a permission slip (Dopusk) from Peter Petrovich to sit for the exam!

Announcement from 5th SGE 2011 Election Committee (SPR)

Students,

Due to withdrawal of most candidates/nominees from taking part in the election and lack of co-operation given by the them, the SPR committee is dissapointed to inform that the election process will not be carried on. Therefore in the situation of emergency, the authority has been given to the present SMSA board to find its replacement. This process will be explained by the SMSA itself in near future.

Calling all First Year Students, SMSA in cooperation with our Embassy and Dean’s Office will hold Orientation Day especially for all of you! The main purpose of this orientation is to let all first year students get acquainted with life here in Moscow and Russia in general. The details of the Orientation day are as follows:

Time: Starts at 4pm (New time!)
